Get Elicana

Beta 30 days free, then $20/month early-bird

Elicana is in open beta: no waitlist, no cohort, download today. It's honestly early, rough edges are still being smoothed, fixes ship fast, and you get a direct line to us at support@elicana.ai for anything that breaks. Try it free for 30 days, no card to start. After that it's $20/month at the early-bird price, and you can cancel anytime.

What happens next

  1. Download the installer for your platform, or run the one-line command.
  2. Run it and enter your email to create your account.
  3. Point it at a folder and start asking questions.

What you need

  • Windows 10/11 64-bit, macOS (Apple Silicon or Intel), or Linux (amd64/arm64).
  • Your own API key (OpenAI or Anthropic), or a local model via Ollama.

Why: Elicana does not resell model access. Your documents and compiled data stay on your machine, and the model call is yours, under your key or your local model. What leaves your machine.

Windows

Download for Windows

Or, in PowerShell:

irm https://elicana.ai/install.ps1 | iex

Windows will warn you before it lets Elicana run, because the app is new and not yet code-signed. The exact clicks to get past it are on the install guide. The PowerShell command skips that warning.

macOS

Open Terminal and paste:

curl -fsSL https://elicana.ai/install.sh | sh

Installs for your user only, no admin. Manual archives: Apple Silicon · Intel. Why the terminal is the simpler path on a Mac.

Linux

In a terminal:

curl -fsSL https://elicana.ai/install.sh | sh

Manual archives: x86_64 · arm64. Install guide.

Verify your download

Checksums for every build: SHA256SUMS. The one-line installers verify automatically; the install guide shows the manual check.

When the 30 days end

At day 30, compile, query and search stop until a card is added on the account page. Your files stay where they are, but the compiled notes are not readable while lapsed. There is no grace period for the trial.
